Nokia is rumored to launch its N900 Maemo handset next week at Nokia World. Once rumored to be a "tablet", the device is really a handset, and runs onMaemo, a flavor of Linux for mobile devices backed by Nokia and Intel.
The interface looks sexy on this particular shot, but earlier reports mentioned that the overall feel is actually closer to Symbian handsets (like the N97). We'll have to try it for ourselves… The photo published by BeGeek is a shot that will be used for marketing purposes and it certainly looks much better than the real-life shots that leaked on the web a few days ago.
